View Grades for a Student no Longer in Course

Question

A student is no longer a member of my course and there are no grades displayed for this student. How can I retrieve those grades?

Answer

You can temporarily re-enroll the student back into your course to regain access to the grades and export the gradebook.

 

To re-enroll the student in your course:

  1. Select Members on the left menu of the course profile.
  2. Click Add Members

  3. Click the name of the student you need to re-enroll in the course. You can also search or browse without affecting any students you've already selected.
  4. Click Add Members to finish.

Note: 

Depending on your school or organization's settings, you may not have the Add Members option in the Members area. If you don't see this option, your System Admin must complete re-enrollment. 

 

 

Alternatively, you can re-enroll the student from the Inactive Members area:

  1. Select Members on the left menu of the course profile.
  2. Click Inactive.
  3. Locate the student and click the gear icon.
  4. Select Re-enroll.

Note: 

  • Depending on your school or organization's enrollments setup, you may not have the option to re-enroll from the Inactive area. Check with your Support Contact if you're unsure.
